A Professor of Water Resources Engineering and P.C. Rossin Chair, specializing in water, sediment, and contaminant transport dynamics, ecohydraulics, and sustainable water resources. Recipient of prestigious ASCE awards including the Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award and the H.A. Einstein Award. Authored over 200 publications, led major research projects funded by NSF, USACE, EPA, and others, and founded a hydraulics laboratory. Extensive experience in academia, mentoring 50+ graduate students.
