A hydrogeologist and environmental remediation specialist with a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from the University of Belgrade, specializing in natural attenuation and enhanced bioremediation of petroleum hydrocarbons in groundwater. My research integrates field-scale investigations, geochemical modeling, and molecular analysis to understand biodegradation mechanisms and contaminant fate. I have published extensively on in situ bioremediation at legacy industrial sites, including jet fuel-contaminated aquifers, and have designed monitored natural attenuation programs for complex hydrocarbon plumes. My work bridges academic research and practical consulting, with over a decade of experience conducting Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, and remedial action planning across Europe and North America. I serve as Associate Professor and Project Lead at the University of Belgrade, mentoring graduate students and leading interdisciplinary research on contaminated site remediation.
