A visual artist and educator with an MFA, I have taught across undergraduate and graduate programs in studio art, theory, professional practices, and thesis development for over fifteen years. My teaching practice is supported by extensive administrative experience, having served as Interim Program Chair and Area Coordinator, where I led curriculum development, faculty coordination, student advising, and program transitions. My scholarly and creative work focuses on light-based installation, sculpture, and public art, with exhibitions throughout the US and Canada. I have received numerous awards, including an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Oregon Arts Commission, multiple project grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, and was a finalist for the Contemporary Northwest Art Awards. My interdisciplinary approach bridges creative practice with critical theory, fostering student development across technical, conceptual, and professional dimensions.
