I am a researcher and senior technician specializing in quantum electro-optic detector technology, currently pursuing a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. My work focuses on advancing single-photon detector research through semiconductor device fabrication and characterization, supported by an Innovate UK grant. With extensive experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, I am passionate about STEM education and have actively engaged in outreach activities to inspire future engineers. My background includes industrial training in electrical building services at Arup, providing me with practical engineering insights that complement my academic research in photonics and semiconductor devices.
