Formerly Vice Dean for the Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and AI at SCNU (2021–2022). Research focuses on information security, theoretical computer science, and logic. Previous research scientist at HP Labs (2006–2010). EPSRC and EU FP7 funded projects including SSPEDI (£0.95M), ALPUIS, and SECONOMICS. Teaches and administrates across computing science curriculum.
