I am a geographer and GIS educator with a PhD in Geosciences, specializing in human-environment interactions and aquatic ecosystems. My research focuses on urban river systems, environmental justice, and the application of geospatial technologies to address ecological challenges. Currently serving as a full-time Instructor of Geographic Information Systems, I have developed and taught numerous courses in GIS, cartography, remote sensing, and cultural geography across multiple institutions. My published work examines the socio-ecological dimensions of urban waterways and spatial environmental inequalities. With extensive experience in both online and in-person instruction, I am committed to advancing geospatial education and applying spatial analysis techniques to understand and address pressing environmental issues.
