A seasoned educator with extensive experience teaching mathematics holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics (Webster University) and a Master’s in Theology (Covenant Theological Seminary). They currently serve as a part-time Professor at Nashville State Community College (since 2021), instructing courses including Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus I–III.
Previously, they were Chair of Natural Philosophy at Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy (2021–2023), teaching Calculus, Statistics, Science, and theology-related subjects, and developed an ACT Prep class that boosted students’ average composite scores by 5 points. They also spent over a decade (2011–2021) as a Mathematics Teacher at Westminster Christian Academy, where they taught Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, and Civil Engineering, and was named “Teacher of the Year” in 2014. Proficient in Perl, Python, and LaTeX, they use these tools to create custom textbooks for their classes.
