A seasoned professional based in New York (USA) holds a Master of Science in Sports Journalism (Quinnipiac University, 2016) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (University of Texas at Austin, 1990), with 30+ years of leadership experience in sports business, education, and media.
As the Founder/CEO of Klein Sports and Education Consulting (2016–Present), they advise national sports tech and service clients: for Kinexon Sports and Media, they supported U.S. market entry, securing NBA approval and clients like the Sixers, Stanford University, and NFL Colts; for National Sports ID, they signed USA Basketball and Jr. NBA; and for CoachTube, they served as acting COO to launch virtual clinics and assist with fundraising. They also drive video technology adoption, helping Krossover generate 50+ leads and Pixellot secure a sale to Loyola Marymount Soccer.
Previously, as Co-Owner/CEO of Five-Star Basketball Camp (1993–2016), they grew the premier youth camp (ages 9–18) into a global program (events in Australia, China, Turkey, etc.) that trained 90+ current NBA players (e.g., LeBron James, Kevin Durant). They expanded the brand with the “Junior Five-Star” pre-teen program (adding 2–3K campers yearly), created instructional products (generating 5-figure annual revenue), and led the affiliated non-profit Five-Star Foundation (distributing $100K to 300+ youth).
