A Jordanian professional (born May 31, 1980) holds a PhD in Sport Training and Education from Beijing Sport University (China, 2009–2013, dissertation on Jordan’s athletic swimming strategy), a Master’s in Sport Education from the University of Jordan (2003–2006), and a Bachelor’s in Sport Education from Mutah University (Jordan, 2000–2003). They also completed a Chinese language diploma at Beijing Sport University (2008–2009) as a PhD prerequisite.
With over 20 years of experience in physical education, swimming coaching, and lifeguarding, they currently serve as a PE Teacher at Nanyang School (2021–2024, physical training focus). Previously, they led English teaching and research at Boya Foreign Language School (2012–2020), worked as a PE Teacher at HuiLongguan International School (2011–2012), and served as a Research Assistant at Beijing Sport University (2010–2011). They also coached swimming for Jordan’s Disabled Person’s Federation (2003–2005) and worked as a lifeguard/coach for the Jordan Swimming Federation (2002–2003).
A decorated professional, they won third place in the 1000m freestyle at China’s Sichuan Province Foreign Students Open Championship (2011) and was an Aqaba Karate Champion (2000). They have published research (e.g., on feedback’s impact on swimming butterfly skill learning) and hold certifications from the International Olympic Committee, International Swimming Federation, and others. Fluent in English and Chinese, they assisted Beijing’s 2008 Olympic organizing efforts and coached Beijing City’s swimming team (2010).
