A geotechnical engineering professional holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus (Jan 2017–Aug 2020, CGPA 9/10), an M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engineering (JNTUH – CEH, 2012–2015, First Class), a PG Diploma in Project Management (University of Hyderabad, First Class), and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (CMR Institute of Technology, First Class).
Currently serving as an Institute Post Doctoral Research Fellow (iPDF) at the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, IIT Dharwad (Nov 2023–Present), they work on “Sustainable Rehabilitating of Ageing Earthen Dams Using Natural Geosynthetics” and manage the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory. Previously, they were an Assistant Professor at MVJ College of Engineering (Bangalore, 2021–2023) and Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College (Tirupati, 2021), teaching postgraduate/undergraduate courses (e.g., Applied Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering) and guiding 2 PG projects.
With expertise in Plaxis 2D/3D, Geo-studio, and AutoCAD, they have 2 SCI, 5 Scopus-indexed papers (e.g., in International Journal of Geomechanics, ASCE), 12 conference papers, and 2 book chapters. They received a DST (Govt. of India) fellowship (2016–2020) and are a life member of the Indian Geotechnical Society.
