A professional holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH, graduated Dec 2019), an MSc in Structural Engineering (Isfahan University Tech, Iran, Feb 2012), and a BSc in Civil Engineering (Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, Iran, Sept 2008). Currently serving as a Bridge Engineer at HNTB Corporation, they conduct life cycle cost analysis for bridge weigh-in-motion systems, 3D finite element modeling, load rating of in-service bridges, and design quality checks.
Previously, they were an Adjunct Faculty/Lecturer at Merrimack College (2019–2020), teaching undergrad courses (Statics, Reinforced Concrete Design) and a graduate course on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). As a Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire (2016–2019), they led fatigue damage assessment of a movable bridge (FHWA-funded) and developed multi-scale finite element models for traffic/bridge lift simulations, integrating SHM data with machine learning.
