Professor and Director of a Center for Catastrophe Modeling and Resilience, with a Ph.D. in Structural Mechanics. Research focuses on infrastructure resilience, catastrophe modeling, regional seismic and hurricane analysis, computational stochastic mechanics, and AI/ML applications in civil engineering. Lead investigator of major NSF-funded projects on interdependent infrastructure systems. Author of numerous high-impact publications in ASCE, Elsevier, Nature, and Wiley journals.
