Research expertise includes blast-resistant design, seismic performance, and behavior of reinforced/prestressed concrete structures under extreme events (earthquakes, tsunamis, blasts). A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and recipient of multiple prestigious awards from the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI). Active member of key technical committees (ACI, ASCE) and associate editor of a major engineering journal.
