A Civil Engineering professional with a PhD in Transportation Engineering (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2020), Professional Master’s in Transportation Engineering (Illinois Institute of Technology, 2012), MSc in Civil Engineering (Western Michigan University, 2009), and BSc in Civil Engineering (University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2007).
Currently serves as Lead Worker of the Traffic Forecasting Section at Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT, 2014–present), leading projects like “CAV Scenario Planning for Traffic Forecasting,” developing statewide travel demand models (TDMs) with CUBE software, and overseeing a team of traffic forecasters. They have completed 200+ traffic forecasts, updated WisDOT’s Transportation Planning Manual, and supported NEPA/EIS studies.
With teaching experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (CEE-579) and Western Michigan University (geomatics, senior projects), they have published peer-reviewed papers (e.g., on emergency evacuation barrier optimization) and are proficient in software like CUBE, ArcGIS, TRANSIMS, and VISSIM. They hold PDH certifications in HCS, CUBE, and TRANSIMS, and are an Associate Member of ASCE.
