Kovács Gábor is a chemistry professional with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Babeș-Bolyai University. With 16 years of teaching experience starting from 2008, he has taught chemistry and physics at secondary schools and various chemistry-related courses (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) at the university level (Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania). His research focuses on photocatalysis, nanocomposites, and environmental chemistry, leading multiple funded projects and publishing over 30 papers in journals like Applied Catalysis B: Environmental and ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering. He holds an international patent and serves as a Guest Editor and Topic Editor for academic journals. Fluent in Hungarian (mother tongue), Romanian, and English, he also has experience in editorial work and cross-country research collaborations.
