I am an applied linguist, and interdisciplinary social and environmental scientist, as well as an Asian and African studies scholar, experienced public policy analyst, international community development consultant, photographer, and university educator with many years of experience in teaching, administration, and research, including work with schools in several countries, and field research experience in Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Canada, and the US. This includes nine years of work, at six different universities, in China. My years of teaching experience include a wide range of courses in English studies, linguistics, sociology, economics, international studies, anthropology, environmental science, geography, and communication studies.
