I hold a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia, with a specialization in thin films for sensor and energy applications. My research journey spans my PhD at Comenius University, postdoctoral experience at the German Aerospace Center, and my current role as Associate Professor at the College of Materials Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research in Physics and Materials Science, I have consistently nurtured student development, earning the NUAA Best Teacher Award in 2017, 2018, and 2019. I’ve published over 100 SCI papers in the field of materials science, with 4,000+ citations, an h-index of 35, and an i10-index of 65+. Fluent in Slovakian and possessing a basic understanding of German.
