Reza Jafary holds a PhD in Teaching English as a Second Language and the Cambridge DELTA. He is currently conducting full-time research in the Faculty Education at McGill University, where he also contributes to the capacity of a course lecturer. As a Cambridge-certified language examiner, he has years of experience in language assessment and academic writing. His research focuses on organic literacies, academic writing, critical pedagogy, genre analysis, and English for Academic and Research Purposes (EAP/ERPP), with a particular emphasis on feedback practices in writing and AI in education. He has published in international journals and edited volumes on AI-enhanced language learning, feedback, and teacher education, integrating critical pedagogy with emerging technologies in plurilingual contexts.
