A researcher and educator with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, my work focuses on fiber-optic distributed sensing, signal and image processing, robotics, IoT, and engineering education technology. I have published in leading journals such as Sensors, IEEE JSTARS, and the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, and have presented at major conferences including SEG, AGU, and EAGE. My research has been supported by the Army Research Laboratory, Department of Energy, and Newmont Mining Corporation, among others. I developed and tested distributed acoustic sensing systems for ground vibration measurements and applied fractional Fourier transform to geophysical data analysis. As a mentor, I have supervised multiple graduate and undergraduate research projects. My current work includes integrating drones and IoT into engineering pedagogy and leading a digital technologies school. I am committed to advancing sensing technologies and educational innovation.
