Professor of Psychology at the University of Calgary, specializing in attention, memory, cognition-emotion interactions, and depression. Holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario (1996). Published over 80 peer-reviewed articles with an h-index of 29 (Google Scholar). Secured continuous NSERC Discovery Grant funding since 1998. Research uses eye-tracking to examine attentional biases in depression and mood disorders. Recipient of the Faculty of Social Sciences Distinguished Teacher Award (2000). Supervised over 30 graduate students and numerous undergraduate researchers.
