Professor of Chemistry at ETH Zurich, specializing in surface organometallic chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, and materials science. Holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University (1996). Published over 300 papers with an h-index exceeding 80. Recipient of the Rössler Prize (2016), P.H. Emmett Award in Fundamental Catalysis (2015), and Humboldt Research Award (2018). Serves as Editor of Helvetica Chimica Acta and member of the Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences. Research focuses on single-site catalysts, alkene metathesis, and CO₂ conversion.
