An arts educator with an MFA, I have taught art history, 3D design, ceramics, and studio arts across university, K-12, and museum settings for over two decades. My teaching emphasizes a wide range of materials and instructional strategies tailored to diverse skill levels and ages, fostering deep understanding of art subjects and techniques. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a Scenic Artist at Walt Disney World, contributing to major projects across US and Shanghai theme parks and cruise lines—experience that informs my approach to collaborative, large-scale creative work and project management. I have developed and enhanced curriculum, integrated new technology into instruction, and currently teach Best Art Practices for Teachers at the graduate level.
