A sculptor and ceramic artist with an MFA from the University of Florida, I have taught sculpture and 3D design at the college level as Adjunct Professor and Instructor of Record. My teaching emphasizes hands-on technical skill development across casting, mold-making, figurative sculpture, and traditional Andean ceramic and metal fabrication techniques. I bring professional expertise in kiln operation, lost wax casting, welding, woodworking, and studio management into the classroom, ensuring students gain both conceptual understanding and practical craftsmanship. I have experience in curriculum development, budgeting, and managing studio spaces, including woodshops. My interdisciplinary approach integrates traditional and contemporary practices, preparing students to work across materials and processes.
