A ceramic artist and educator with an MFA from Alfred University, I have taught ceramics at the graduate and advanced undergraduate levels as Visiting Assistant Professor and Adjunct Faculty. My teaching spans handbuilding, ceramic surfaces, and expanded media, with a focus on technical skill development, conceptual exploration, and installation practices. I have held artist residencies at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia and the Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute in China, where I also mentored graduate students. My studio practice includes ongoing research, solo exhibitions, and work in ceramic sculpture. Beyond the classroom, I have experience as a studio manager, overseeing operations and educational programming for both youth and adults. I am committed to fostering creative idea generation, visual literacy, and craft skill-building across diverse learning contexts.
