An art educator with dual master’s degrees in Fine Arts and Art Education, I have taught across K-12, community college, and university settings for over two decades. My teaching focuses on foundations, ceramics, and studio art, with a commitment to fostering creative expression and technical skill. I have served as Adjunct Professor of Art at Hawaii Pacific University and previously held a role as Professor of Art and Director of LLRC at Heald College, where I received a national award for outstanding teaching. My engagement with the arts extends beyond the classroom: as a member of the Board of Directors at the Honolulu Museum of Art, I helped organize juried exhibitions, manage gallery operations, and support local artists. My work bridges studio practice, arts administration, and community engagement, reflecting a deep commitment to arts education and cultural stewardship.
