A ceramic artist and educator with an MFA from Michigan State University, I have taught across higher education, community college, and K-12 settings for over twenty-five years. My teaching spans ceramics, sculpture, drawing, design, and art appreciation, and I have held positions including Visiting Professor, Temporary Assistant Professor, and Artist in Residence. My creative practice is grounded in ceramics and three-dimensional design, and my work has been exhibited widely in galleries and museums across the Midwest and beyond. I am committed to fostering hands-on, material-based learning that encourages technical skill, conceptual development, and personal expression.
