A visual arts educator with over fifteen years of experience in secondary and higher education, I hold an MFA from the University of Notre Dame and have taught across studio art, design, and art appreciation. My teaching approach is collaborative, immersive, and interdisciplinary, blending traditional media with digital technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and design software. As Associate Professor of Visual Arts at a community college, I developed face-to-face, blended, and online curricula, managed adjunct faculty schedules, and directed a MacLab and Makerspace. I have taught ceramics, digital art, design, and AP Art, and I have implemented student-centered programming including permanent collections and makerspaces. Currently teaching MYP Design internationally, I continue to integrate skill-building across media, fostering creative and technical growth in students of all ages.
