An English literature scholar with a Master of Philosophy degree, I have taught as an assistant professor at the undergraduate level, where I introduced students to literary analysis, critical theory, and cultural studies. My research focuses on postcolonial literature, feminist criticism, and the representation of women in traditional and contemporary texts. I have published three peer-reviewed papers exploring themes of tradition, cultural identity, and gender in works by Prathipa Roy, Girish Karnad, and Gabriel Okara. As coordinator of a Fine Arts club, I also organized cultural events to promote student engagement beyond the classroom. My academic work is grounded in close textual analysis and interdisciplinary approaches, and I am committed to fostering critical thinking and a deeper appreciation of literature in my students.
