Dr. Tanveer Ahmad received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019 under the supervision of Loh Teck-Peng. He previously completed his M.Phil. in Chemistry at Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan. From 2019 to 2025, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the group of Wanbin Zhang at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on asymmetric catalysis, organometallic chemistry, and the synthesis of pharmaceutical molecules such as Bedaquiline. He has extensive experience in chiral ligand design, catalytic reaction development, and flow chemistry. His work also includes the development of functional materials such as MOFs and COFs, and he has published several research articles in leading international journals and collaborated with internationally recognized chemist. In addition, he has teaching experience as a Lecturer in chemistry and possesses strong expertise in modern synthetic techniques, spectroscopic analysis, and catalytic reaction design.
