I am a researcher and practitioner at the intersection of civil engineering informatics, construction management, and digital innovation. With a Ph.D. from Technische Universität Darmstadt, my academic work has focused on advancing Building Information Management (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and the application of high-performance computing in engineering. I have led and contributed to numerous research projects investigating BIM for facility operations, information quality assessment, and sustainable construction processes. My research output includes multiple publications and successful co-authorship of grants from prestigious institutions like NSERC and the German Research Foundation (DFG). As an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, I bridge academia and industry, mentoring the next generation while applying lean and integrated project delivery principles to real-world challenges.
