Dr Sharyn Livy is a Senior Lecturer of mathematics education in the School of Curriculum, Teaching and Inclusive Education, Faculty of Education, at Monash University.

Sharyn is dedicated in supporting primary school teachers and pre-service teachers to improve their skills and knowledge in mathematics education. She believes that quality mathematics education is crucial for the development of young minds and strives to equip teachers with the necessary tools to achieve this. Her work includes conducting research within the field of mathematics teaching and learning. Sharyn enjoys developing and delivering professional development programs for teachers and collaborating with schools and education partners to promote student-centred instructional approaches and collaborative mathematical learning experiences for all students.
