I am an electrical engineer and researcher specializing in renewable energy systems, photovoltaics, artificial intelligence, and power electronics. My work focuses on developing machine learning-based fault detection algorithms for photovoltaic systems, enhancing PV reliability and performance. I have authored over 20 journal publications and serve as a guest editor for special issues on PV reliability. Recognized as one of the top 15 young scientists in the UK in 2020, I lead the Laboratory of Photovoltaics at the University of York, where I also serve as Graduate Admissions Tutor and course leader for MSc programmes. My teaching covers photovoltaics, power electronics, and control systems, bridging cutting-edge research with engineering education to advance sustainable energy technologies.
