I am Dr. Hyder Ali Segu Mohamed, a Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering with over 34 years of academic and industry experience. I hold a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering. My teaching and research span Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Systems, and Advanced Communication Systems.
I have served in various academic roles, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at institutions in India, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and China. My teaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, analytical thinking, and real-world applications. My research interests include signal and image processing, medical imaging, and machine/deep learning applications.
I look forward to supporting students in developing both conceptual clarity and practical insight throughout the course.
