I taught English in Japan for more than twenty years before returning to Australia in February, 2025. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Macquarie School of Education at Macquarie University, Australia. I am interested in language teacher professional development, teacher research and well-being. My most recent publications on these topics appear in JALT Journal and Language Teaching Research Quarterly.
