Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy. Research focuses on vehicle electrification (technology, policy, lifecycle), design decision-making, and energy systems. Founded the Design Decisions Laboratory and co-founded the Vehicle Electrification Group. Holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon. Recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and other major honors.
