He is a multidisciplinary engineering professional with strong credentials in electrical, bioengineering, and infrastructure management. Currently a biomedical engineering professor, they have successfully led ABET and MSCHE accreditation efforts for the first undergraduate biomedical engineering programs in Puerto Rico. They combine academic expertise with practical industry experience, serving concurrently as a Chief Information Officer and Regulatory Affairs lead for a consulting group, where they oversee IT assets, regulatory compliance, and healthcare infrastructure projects. With a background in electrical engineering and ongoing PhD work in bioengineering, they hold an EIT certification, have passed the PE Power exam, and maintain a Journeyman Electrician license. Their project management experience includes overseeing a $1.1 million construction program and supervising large teams. Skilled in AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, and regulatory systems, they are a bilingual (English/Spanish) leadership.
