He is an experienced physicist and educator with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and advanced training in Nuclear Engineering. Their research focuses on radiation transport, radioisotope power systems, and neutron physics, with numerous publications in journals such as the Transactions of the American Nuclear Society Medical Physics. They have contributed to the development of micro-scale nuclear batteries and have co-authored provisional patents for photon-assisted radioisotope energy sources. With over a decade of teaching experience, they have instructed courses in general physics, computational methods, and Python programming at multiple institutions. Their technical expertise includes Monte Carlo simulations (MCNP, EGS), deterministic transport methods, and programming in Python, MATLAB, and Fortran. They have also served as a grant reviewer for the Department of Energy and mentored undergraduate researchers.
