A Professor of Physics at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo (since 2017), specializing in cosmology, gravity, particle physics, astrophysics, black holes, and gravitational waves. Holds a PhD in Physics (2001) from Case Western Reserve University, an MSc (1997) and BSc (1994, first in class) in Physics from the University of Belgrade. Prior academic experience includes roles as Associate/Assistant Professor at SUNY Buffalo (2007–2017), Visiting Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University (2005–2007), and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan (MCTP Fellow, 2003–2005) and University of Alberta (Killam Memorial Fellow, 2001–2003).
