A Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering Professor with over 17 years of university teaching experience. Currently a Professor at The University of the West Indies (Trinidad), he previously held roles at the University of Tabuk (Saudi Arabia), Fiji National University, and Universiti Sains Malaysia. He completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at National Taiwan University and earned a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from IIT Bombay (India), plus an M.E. in Water Resources and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Recognized as one of the world’s top 2% scientists (Stanford University), he has over 150 international journal/conference publications, focuses on soft computing for hydraulic modeling, and serves on editorial boards of journals like Journal of Hydrology. He has secured multiple research grants and supervised numerous PhD/MSc students.
