Lecturer in Chemistry with a PhD in Materials Chemistry, specializing in the synthesis and characterization of novel liquid crystal compounds, particularly those exhibiting the twist-bend nematic phase. Current research focuses on new helical phases of liquid crystals. Teaches organic, analytical, and materials chemistry. Awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry Prize in Analytical Chemistry and other academic honors.
