He co-founded/led influential research centers: the Centre for Sport, Disability and Health (UEL) and the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC)-QUT National Sport Science Centre—the first of its kind in Australia—securing over $2.1M in grants (e.g., from USOPC, AFL) to advance sport-related research.
