I am an educator and researcher dedicated to advancing robotics and computer vision for healthcare. As an Adjunct Teaching Professor, I guide graduate students in these fields. My research at Harvard Medical School focuses on developing and translating AI-powered vision systems, like the PostureCheck tool, into clinical practice to enhance stroke rehabilitation. This work, for which I have secured significant NIH SBIR funding as Principal Investigator, bridges the gap between algorithmic innovation and tangible patient care solutions. Further contributing to the scientific community, I serve as a Scientific Reviewer for the NIH, evaluating grant applications in orthopedic and rehabilitation sciences. My career is driven by the integration of academic research, industry development, and clinical deployment to create intelligent systems that address critical challenges in medicine.
